A stunning no-bake dessert featuring layers of angel food cake, strawberry filling, and creamy vanilla pudding topped with a vegan whipped topping alternative.

1 (16-ounce) box angel food cake mix
1 (21-ounce) can strawberry pie filling
1 (8-ounce) block cream cheese, softened
1 (3.4-ounce) box vanilla instant pudding mix
1.5 cups whole milk
1 (8-ounce) container of a vegan vanilla whipped topping alternative
Fresh lemon juice (optional)
Sliced almonds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare angel food cake as per box. Cool and cut into 1-inch cubes.
  2. Place half the cake cubes in a 9×9-inch dish. Spread about 2/3 of the strawberry filling over them.
  3. Add remaining cake cubes on top.
  4. In a bowl, blend softened cream cheese until smooth. Mix in pudding mix, milk, and optional lemon juice.
  5. Pour pudding mixture evenly over the cake layers.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for 3-4 hours or overnight until set.
  7. Spread the vegan whipped topping over the set pudding. Top with remaining strawberry filling and optional almonds.
