A deliciously crispy keto-friendly dessert featuring a sweet cream cheese filling wrapped in a low-carb tortilla and coated in cinnamon and sugar substitute.

6 Small Low-Carb Tortillas (street taco size)
5 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
1/4 cup Swerve Confectioner’s Sugar Substitute
1/4 cup Swerve Granulated Sugar Substitute
2 tsp Cinnamon (divided)
4 tbsp Butter (melted)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, blend the softened cream cheese, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and the confectioners sugar substitute until smooth and well combined.
  2. Spread an even layer of the cream cheese mixture down the center of each villa.
  3. Roll each tortilla tightly around the cream cheese filling.
  4. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Place the rolls in the skillet and cook, turning frequently, until all sides are golden brown and crispy.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar substitute with the remaining teaspoon of cinnamon.
  7. Remove the hot rolls from the skillet and immediately sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture while the butter is still wet.

Notes

  • Use room temperature cream cheese to avoid lumps.
  • Place rolls seam-side down first to seal them.
  • Air fry at 375F for 5 minutes if you prefer a non-skillet method.
