Sweet, caramelized, and healthy pineapple chunks made easily in the air fryer. A perfect warm dessert or snack.

Ingredients

1 medium fresh pineapple (about 3 cups chunks)
1 tablespoon olive oil or coconut oil
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prep the pineapple: Cut off the top and bottom. Stand it upright, slice off the skin, and remove the eyes. Cut into 1-inch chunks.
  2. Toss with flavor: In a bowl, combine pineapple with oil, cinnamon, sweetener, and salt. Toss until coated.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 2 minutes.
  4. Air fry: Place chunks in a single layer in the basket. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden brown.
  5. Serve warm alone or with vanilla ice cream.

  • Use fresh, not canned, pineapple for best texture.
  • Pat pineapple dry before tossing for better crisping.
  • Cook in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding.
